Legal Question in Workers Comp in Pennsylvania

typically,how long does it take for a workers comp. case take? i live in pa. and my was denied comp. 8mos. ago and filed an appeal and hired an attorney immediately(diagnosed with brachial plexus neuropothy). what are my chances of being offered a settlement? dr. says i cant return to regular duties due to repetitive motion

It's impossible to answer most of your questions w/o knowing the facts. If you were denied work comp and your lawyer appealed, the chances of the carrier offering you money to settle before the appeal is decided are very slim. You should be asking these questions to your lawyer. If he won't answer your questions, or if you don't have confidence in his answers, get a new lawyer!
