Legal Question in Workers Comp in Pennsylvania

Workers Comp

I have been sick from something inside my office for the entire 19 months that I have worked there--name removed--I develope an infection after a few weeks of work (it has progressed to less time) and have taken all my sick time, personal time and vacation time as well as time off without pay--name removed--I was out on short term disability 2X for a total of 12 weeks (using all my FMLA time) and when I came back again for the second time off I was sick again after only a week--name removed--They will not make this a workers comp case because they say they cannot determine what the cause of the illness is--name removed--I cant afford to keep going out on disability over and over and am sick again, going to work sick and dizzy--name removed--There has been testing and mold found, supposedly cleaned up and ventilation repaired--name removed--However I am sick again and again--name removed--I dont know what to do--name removed--I need the job but am sick so much--name removed--I never go anywhere and have spent so much time off in bed on weekends and holidays as well as evenings after work--name removed--What do I do?

Re: Workers Comp

It's a compensable occupational exposure. Now that mold has been identified as the culprit, you could go back to work without a problem. If the exposure and response were to still existing, then you could be on comp for prohyllactic reasons.
