Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Philippines

immigration clearance

i am 54 yrs. old and my first time to get a philippine passport. the dfa wants a BIIC or bureau of immigration intelligence clearance before they will give me a passport. i already elected philippine citizenship in 1974 but my birth certificate shows-chinese filipino as nationality, legitimate and parents as married although in fact i am illegitimate but using my fathers chinese surname as was stated on my election papers. i checked the bureau of immigration website and i could not find where or what type or clearance i need since i am not an alien and i have no acr or icr. also how much do i have to pay in total fees and the processing time. thanks in advance.

Re: immigration clearance

If your birth certificate shows that you are a chinese, though you have elected Philippine citizenship already, you would really need an Immigration Clearance. But better if i can see you personally. Am a registered Imigration Lawyer. Thanks
