settle estate

My huband has been fighting for 6 years over his father's estate in puerto rico. Apparently, the wife has offered 13,000 to each of his three kids, from another marriage-there is a house and property that she says belongs to her but there is no will..my husband is spending alot of money on fight this issue when i think that the wife is probably going to get the money and not him-a child from a previous marriage. is his wife entitled to all his assests when he dies and there is no will? thank you..court is in january and i just hate spending more money if we are not going to get more than what she offered to settle.annmarie

Re: settle estate

I have approved this message, but I cannot answer your question. In fact, no attorney should. The reason is that, the way it is drafted, it strongly suggests that you have retained the services of an attorney. In that situation, no other attorney can give advice regarding this case without a direct authorization from your current attorney to this matter.
