something bought after sep. but before div.

One year ago divorce was granted,but, no finiancial settlement. Ex-wife lawyer had 60 days to get it back in court judge's order she didn't. Now she wants half fair martet value of something that was purchased 18 months after seperated. (Farm Equipment)

Typically, items purchased after separation (especially after divorce) are considered to be non-marital, though there are exceptions. This is one of the reasons that the Court does not like to address the divorce and the financial issues at separate times.
