Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

family

My fiancees grandson may be removed from her custody due to a beating by her live-in boyfriend and her lack of protection to her 7 year-old son. I was her neighbor and heard the beating. I'm a witness. We would like to be given custody of the little boy. Will our chances improve if we get married before the trial scheduled for Feb. 17 and 18? or is our engagement and marriage pland for June 27, 2009 enough?

Re: family

If you want to get custody of this child, then you need to immediately consult an experienced family law attorney to discuss your options and the best course of action to take to do so. The sooner you do this, the better your chances will be.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
