Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

My wife sent my daughter and I down to South Carolina from Pennsylvania, telling me that she would be down here in two weeks. It has now been close to two month's without me hearing from her since a day or two after I got here until Tuesday of this week. When I finally did hear from her she said that she wanted to get a Divorce and she was taking my daughter back up there with her. Does she have the right to do this?

You need to consult an attorney in PA, as that's where jurisdiction will most likely be since you have only been in SC for a short period of time.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
