Legal Question in Civil Litigation in South Carolina

money trusted

i gave a couple money to pay bills that they owed but were in my name ... the money wasnt used for the purpose it was given

they now owe over $300 ...

what options do i have

You can try calling the police, but they rarely do anything about these matters. They will usually just say its a civil matter and out of their jurisdiction. If these people will not pay by you threatening to sue them, then you will probably have to do just that, sue them. Good luck
