Insurance company dropped me

I was diagnosed with HIV in Feb. 2001. I took out a life insurance policy in Sept. 2001. I missed a payment and was sent a reinstatement application. I filled application out and then insurance was denied. They are now saying that the reason for the denial is my status. This was known when insurance was issued in Sept. 2001. I feel as if they have gotten my money for the past 7 years and now i'm left without any life insurance. What are my options?

Insurance policies can be difficult to read and interpret. You should take the policy and the denial letter to an attorney and have him/her review it.
