Legal Question in Traffic Law in South Carolina

Car accident

I was in a car accident. The police officer put me in fault of the car accident. The ticket was failure to yield for the right away, but I yield. At the end of the street theirs a sign but you can't see oncoming traffic because of trees and bushes block your vision.I drove down the street and stopped at the stop sign.I couldn't see oncoming traffic because of trees and brushes. So I move about 2 or 3 feet so i can see the oncoming traffic and I stopped but my vehicle was in the road a little bit.The truck just came down the street and hit my van in the front of my bumper.I want to know can I beat this charge because I did stop at the stop sign and my ticket says that I failed to yield because of my van was in the road a little bit. Please let me know asap thank you for your help.

Re: Car accident

Its possible to beat it. The best thing you can do is have a consultation with an attorney. A lawyer could look at the police report, speak with witnesses if there are any, look at the accident scene, possibly take pictures, and assess your chances of sucess at trial and advise you accordingly. Good luck
