Legal Question in Traffic Law in South Carolina

Unlicensed Driving in South Carolina

I--name removed--writing about the unlicensed driving laws in California dealing with immigrants. I--name removed--from South Carolina and have seen nothing about our own laws on the numerous websites or many books I've been looking through. What is the penalty for driving without a license in our state?

Re: Unlicensed Driving in South Carolina

We have Driving with No Driver's License for unlicensed drivers and we have Driving Under Suspension, for those whose license has been taken away. Both charges carry up to 30 days for a first offense and the penalties get worse for subsequent offenses.
