Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Tennessee

fired after an EEOC charge

I filed a charge of race discrimination. it was mediated on 4/0/05,and resolved in my favor. 2 weeks later my employer started writing me up for ridiculous things, including denying my FMLA which is being investigated by Wage and Hour. I filed a charge of retaliation on 4/26/06. EEOC says no quick resolution, they are backlogged and this could take all of 180 days maybe longer. What are my alternatives if any? If EEOC settles it, what am I entitled to? I can't go back to work there because of the hostility. I am only working part time. I am suffering emotionally and financially. Can I get an attorney and get a right to sue now from EEOC?
