Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Tennessee

daycare 2 week notice

I own a daycare. I have a parent trying to get out of a 2 week notice contract. There has been no complaints at all from her. She desided to send the child to a special class at school, he was going to ride the bus to my daycare after school. she told me this on 11-21-07 on 11-27-07 after not seeing her or the child getting off the bus at my home I called her. She said he was not going to be coming back. I reminded her about the contract and she said she told me he was going to school, I said ''yes you did but he was still going to come here, you have just now unenrolled him after I called you. She hung up on me. I have received no payment she will not return my calls. should I take her to court?

Re: daycare 2 week notice

You can take anyone to court. You might win depending on the circumstances. The question really is, should you? I would focus on the business aspect of things instead. Do you want to be the daycare that is known for suing parents?
