motion for alternative service

A motion for alternative service was placed on my parents door by a creditor who is sueing me. It states they couldnt find me, of course i dont live there. How can i get another court date set or do i need seek legal help

Yes, you need to hire an attorney.If you challenge service, it will just buy a little time. If you hire an attorney, they may be able to negotiate an extension to file an answer. In any case, if you are being sued, you need legal representation. Depending on the case, there may be defenses.
