i am 20 and was in a accident. i am being charged for dui. my bac was.07. i was never took to jail went to hospital instead. what will happen about the jail time.

If convicted of DUI first offense you must serve at least 48 hours in jail. Other penalties apply for second or subsequent offenses. There is an increases jail term required for "high alcohol" DUI's, 0.07 % is not "high alcohol." Meet with an attorney, there are other options available to possibly settle your case if you are 18-21 years old that do not include any jail time at all.
