Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee

I gave temparary custody of my son to my aunt after his father passed away and he is now in a dangerous living environment and i still am not able to care for him but i want my mother to have him and the courts and dcs are not helping us any what do we mdo?

Consider taking custody back yourself and then YOU can place the child with your mother. Unless there is more to this - you should be able to get custody back from your aunt if you gave it to her voluntarily. Ask the clerk of the juvenile court in your area for assistance. They should appoint an attorney for you and one for the child.

If you truly feel the child is in a dangerous living environment - as an adult with knowledge you can call the DCS central receiving crisis line and they will have to investigate. I know getting DCS to assist can be difficult but if you lodge it as a report of a child in danger it changes the dynamics and they have to conduct an investigation in a very short period of time.
