Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee

Yes ,my husband filed for divorce , after 23 years of marriage , we have alot of debt ! we have 140 acer farm , he has ask me to sign everything ,all debt over in his name ,an he will file bankruptcy ,an i take my personal stuff an walk from the debt, with a clean slate ?? an him keep the farm ?? economy is bad an stuff is not selling here ! we gave alot more for the farm than it will bring right now , an we owe about 550,000 with everything ?? my question is will this clean my credit? or will i be tied in with the debt, an does this sound fair to you, i cant afford a laywer,??????

If your name is on the debt, the process you have described will not "clean your credit."
