Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee

Make a Will

My husband and I have a 4 year old son and resently updated our life insurance on both of us. I want to know what form I need to make a will naming a guardian for our son if something was to happen to both me and my husband. Also who to appoint over our estate until our son comes of legal age to take over.

Re: Make a Will

Yes, you and your husband should make a Will which includes your appointment of a guardian and trustee, and a trust provision for the child. TN laws require that you both make separate Wills. Appoint someone responsible as your Executor so he/she can make sure the Wills are probated and your wishes carried out.
