3 car accident who is liable

My husband was involved in a 3 car accident last night. The other driver hit him and he in return hit someone else. the first driver was cited at fault.to my knowledge No one had insurance. the passenger in the third car had to go to hospital she was pregnant. my husband license was suspended at the time. what needs to be done. All 3 cars had to be towed and my car is inoperable. what is going to happen?
