Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Tennessee

quit claim deed

I live in Michigan and my Father lives in Missouri. My Father is giving me property in Tennessee. What is the process in getting this property in my name? With 3 different states invovled I don't know how best to get this done or which form needs to be purchased.

The fact that there are a few different states involved is not substantive here. Tennessee law applies as the property is in Tennessee. Therefore, using Tennessee law prepare a quit claim deed. Access the public records - register of deeds office to find a sample, or contact a Tennessee attorney to prepare the deed.
