Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Tennessee

Contesting will

My girlfriends grandmother passed away and the will was read this past thursday. The excutive of the estate is a lawyer because she wanted to make sure it could not be questioned. My gf was left the house, the content's inside of it, the land it sits on and the car; which is probley well over what the boys got. Her 2 brothers were left 150,000 cap split. They did not sign the releases so it is going to be placed in probate and go in front of a judge. I was wondering exactly what happens in a case like this. She was of sound mind when the will was made?

Re: Contesting will

Contrary to popular belief, any Will can be contested. Having an attorney as the executor doesn't make any diference. The assets of the decedent should be distributed according to the Will. If your girlfriend would like me to represent her in this regard, have her give me a call at 423 266-4855. Ask her to get a copy of evergthing filed to date, including a copy of the Will before she calls.
