Legal Question in Business Law in Texas

Taxable Services in Texas

I have an LLC in Texas and offer website services such as access to an online survey solution and various other membership sites offering information about various niches such as fishing. Are those services supposed to be taxed under Texas law or not?

Re: Taxable Services in Texas

Based on what you have written, you will be paying franchise taxes to the State of Texas for the LLC. You may always review the Secretary of State or Secretary of Comptroller's websites to read on the other taxes which your LLC may be responsible for. If my law firm can assist you with this legal issue or any other legal matter, please contact us at [email protected] to arrange for a consultation.

Your LLC is to be taxed under state franchise tax. Go to http://window.state.tx.us/taxes/ to see the other taxes in Texas.
