Legal Question in Business Law in Texas

How to unfreeze assets?

I have an exisiting buisness were a claimint filed a TRO and requested an asset freeze. We went to the hearing and the request was denied. The Judge gave a verbal order. The banks will not recognize that the order has expired nor will the opposing attorney verify or assist with anything to our banks. What do i have to get in order for the banks to unfreeze the accounts?

Any attorney will say the bank cannot freeze the account unless the TRO was granted, or there is some other outstanding order re: a freeze issued by the court. In other words, the bank can't just freeze any account with something more. This is not an area where you want to try and represent yourself. Consult with a good business attorney in your area for specific advice.

You may need a motion to dissolve the TRO. I think there is more going on in this case than you realize, at what you are stating doesn't normally happen that way.
