Legal Question in Business Law in Texas

verbal contract. I am in small claims as plaintiff. had a partner and we started a business venture together. relationship ended. he denies we had a business partnership now even though I kept all the emails about establising the buisness, our roles and the spiltting of profits. I asked for "Request for Admissions" of this person. He denies everything even his own emails. I even have witnesses with whom he discussed the business partnership. Ive a feeling he will try to have the case dismissed citing no verbal contract..but ive the evidence and witnesses willing to testify. advice?

As a Franchise Attorney I can only say the following. You should show up at your hearing, put on your case by calling witnesses and introducing your emails, etc. Then he will need to put on his case After that, a decision will be made. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
