Legal Question in Business Law in Texas

Will Liability waiver hold up in court

We own a small framing business. We elected not to carry workers Comp. We informed our employees in writing and had them sign a waiver of liability stating that they are aware that they are not covered by any insurance from the business and we are not responsible for any injuries. They sign taking the risk of their own free will.

Will this paper they sign stand up in court or can we still be sued. Is there a legal for we can use and should it be notorized? We have not had any injuries, but I am conserned.
