Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Texas

i have been seeing this guy for the last year and we have known each other for 10 yrs this past october he lost his brother in a wreck and he was the beneficiary of his life insurance so to my surprise he bought me a 13,000 diamond ring and gave it to me without a proposal but everytime he got mad at me he took it back so finally after taking it back 3 times and giving it back which i now have he wants it back bc i got upset since overheard him saying mean things to his friends about me and my family. well i feel that i should be able to keep it as it was a gift and the only reason he wants it back is bc he doesnt want me to have it.. everytime he took it back he either left it in his console of his truck or by the bathroom sink under toothbrushes etc.... he has always been very vindictive and the whole point is he just doesnt want me to keep it he also wants me to give all other gifts he has given me in the past or he will sue me for them. what should i do.. the ring is not a family heirlom it was a GIFT that he wanted me to have... help please....

Keep the ring. It's a gift.

Let him sue you if he wants to. He's wrong.
