Harassment

Is it legal for a collection agency to call your home several times a day with harassing and threatening phone calls? It is concerning a charge off on our credit report with a $0.00 balance.

It is not legal if you demand that they not call you at home, but you must communicate your wishes to them in writing. Advise them you are invoking the protections of the Federal Fair Collection Practices Act
