Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Texas

Neighbor Harrassment

We have lived in our house for 14 years, two years ago bad neighbors moved in and immediately started complaining about everything. Our truck was parked outside of our home and they called the police. Nothing could be done about public access but evenually they got the police to ticket the truck as abandoned. We had to move it within 48 hours. Next, they reported us to the city for not getting a permit for a piece of lattice we installed. We were cited and have to take it down AND pay $255. They constantly harrass us and we say and do absolutely nothing to them. What recourse do we have other than moving? It is a very stressful situation and we are trying everything to stop it but it is only getting worse.

Re: Neighbor Harrassment

Before paying $255..go to court and fight the citation...learn the "laws" or "code"...but other than moving, thre is little one could do...except learn all the rules of living in a city...
