Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

I borrowed money from a payday loan place that was taking too much out of checking account so I put stop payment on it now they are calling my job telling me that a deputy is coming to sick me up and take me to court and I better have someone to get me out. I have not heard anything from them and its been two weeks since I stopped payment. They also told me that my social security for my son will be stopped till court makes a decision.

They are liars. Nobody is going to get arrested, and nobody is going to stop anybody's social security payments.

Right now, stop talking to these people. Don't take their phone calls. If one of them gets you on the phone, hang up immediately.

And pay them when you can.
