Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

car purchase contract

I purchased a car from a dealer. My husband was not present at the time of purchase. The dealer would not let me get my husband but instead had me to sign his name to the contract, assuring me that it was legal. After the fact I found that the contract was not legal. now 2 years later they are threating me and prying into my personal business, and that of others in my family.Somehow they found out that my mother-in-law sold her house and they acted like it was mine. The dealer is now lying and says they saw him sign the contract and the dealer has been gone for almost 2 years. please tell me if I should get a lawyer I am considering a lawsuit against the dealer, financeco. and collection agency.

Re: car purchase contract

You really need a lawyer. Sounds much like a deceptive trade practice and now some unfair debt collection practices. It appears a lawsuit is the only way out for you.
