credit card debt

My husband died an I still used the credit cards in his name. I have been making all payments on the cards. Now the credit card company says i can not use the cards. What can they do to me if I quit paying on these cards?

Re: credit card debt

They can sue you for the unpaid balance. They can file criminal charges for theft by fraud.

Ask them to re-issue cards in your name, since you've been paying on them.
