Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

fraud

Our credit card company keeps calling asking us information about charges and implying weve been fraudulant. What recourse do we have. The card was issued to my mother in law with my husband and I as approved users.

Re: fraud

Your problem sounds as if it is annoying, but not illegal. You may want to have your mother-in-law write them a polite but firm letter advising them that under the terms of the agreement, you are authorized users, and provided the charges are paid promptly, they should not question your purchases.
