Fraudulent activities

I have just recently received a letter in the mail stating that I had a fraudulent check cashed under my name. However, I was not responsible for cashing this check and have been a victim of identity theft prior to this occurence. What do I need to do to contest this charge?

call the bank...and if you have no success with the bank, call a lawyer...your bank owes you
