Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

Tx resident - national employer - can wages be garnished?

Can a judgment creditor garnish the wages of a Texas resident employed by a national corporation but working in the corporation's regional office in Texas? The wages are earned in Texas but the actual paycheck is issued from headquarters in California. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you are a Texas resident, receiving your paycheck in Texas, your wages cannot be garnished except for taxes, student loans, and child support.
