Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Texas

unwanted contract

I signed a contract for a membership in a consumer buyer's club. After thinking about it overnight, I no longer wanted to be a part of it. Is there any laws stating I can get out of it, or am I binded by the contract?

Re: unwanted contract

Unless the contract specifically gives you instructions on how to opt out of the contract, both as to method and time within which to act, you are bound by the contract. If there are opt-out instructions, and you do not follow them exactly, you are bound by the contract.
