Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

Assistant District Attorney

My brother was recently incarcerated on a possesion of controlled substance cocaine offense while currently on parole. My brother was arrested for murder in which charges were due to lack of evidence. An assistant district attorney was assigned to the murder case. Apparently the non conviction brought negative and personal feelings toward my brother from the assistant DA. The DA is offering my brother a plea bargain of 12 years or he will take his case to trial in less than a week. He stated to a personal friend of the family whom is an attorney that he did not get him on the murder but he will get him on this charge. I feel it is a personal issue with my brother because he was not originally assigned to the case. Also, when my brother was arrested, we believe it was a case of racial profiling.

If your brother does not have an attorney, he needs one NOW! If he has one, what has his attorney said about the matter and the plea? If he needs an attorney and is in the Dallas - Fort Worth area, please call me at 817 763-0600
