Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

Class A Misdemeanor expungment

My 20 yr old niece was charged with a Class A misdemeanor for being in possession of a fake ID at a club. She did not use it for buying alcohol and was with her mother at the time. The manager asked to see it and she was subsequently arrested. Her mother never thought to get an attorney for her. She was given probation and a fine which have been completed without incident. Except for this, she is squeaky clean....however, despite a great LSAT is having a difficult time even getting an interview to a law school after answering truthfully to ''have you ever been given probation?''. How do we go about getting this expunged from her record? Thank you.

Find a lawyer practicing in the county of your probation and discuss the matter with that lawyer.

You very likely have the opportunity for great help, if the probation was of the deferred adjudication type. Http://www.reasonable-doubt.com
