Is it illegal to carry a baseball bat in your car ? My 17 yo son wants keep one under his seat for protection.He doesn't play baseball.

It is not illegal to carry a baseball bat in one's car.
Tell your son that he should also carry a baseball GLOVE (wink wink) and a dirty baseball.

If he is carrying it as a weapon, which apparently he is, it is illegal.
