Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
illegal search
I was arrested 4 years ago for drug poss. I went on deffered probation so now you can see the arrest but theres no conviction. Does that arrest provide probable cause for an unauthorized search of my vehicle?

Not without more. If your question is would that prior arrest and deferred, alone, justify a search of the vehicle, my opinion is no, it would not.
