Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
the police told me who to pick in line up
My mother is a illegal in USA,i saw the person who committed a crime but the police pictures he wasnt on.but mr cop said he call INS if i dont help.so i pick wrong man.I am scared of police but i dont want innocent man to go to jail.can i just say that i think i picked the wrong person because i remembered something later?What will happen? If I say I pick the wrong person.How do I contact his lawyer?What happens if we move away will my videotape statement and photo i picked still be used against the wrong man.I'm 17 and scared. please help.
