Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
So i pulled over to some cops that had already been dealing witha a case and i did that so i could report my boyfriend of having drugs and was lying about having them . but before i could even get the cops attention he hops out of the car and tries to flip the whole thing on me saying i was trying to set the whole thing up and that im crazy. and then i explain that i was trying to turn him in and i even show the police the molly pils and the weed. then the officers search the car and they arrest both of us for possesion of marajana. but they never even say anything about the pills. why didnt they say anything about them? and why was i arrested for pulling over to the cops to turn my boyfriend in. the cops never pulled us over i was driving and pulled over to the cops. i have already got bailed out of jail and so has my boyfriend. how do i prove that i am innocent and was just trying to turn someone in? and also is their a way i can get him to admit the truth somehow by recording it secretly or anything that i can do to prove that im innocent?
