Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

On XMas eve I was arrested for shoplifting. A class B Misdemeanor, but was later found innocent. My husband worked for Tiger Logistics who was a sub contract company for Fedex smart post delivering packages from fedex to various postal offices. He was working and I asked him to drop me off at the mall, I had a return and a little more shopping to finish. While in his truck a small box fell in my bag. It was an unopened box of ProActive worth $20 tops. I was not arrested but they have an open investigation on mail theft. Can I be charged, even though it was not opened and a mistake?

You can be charged for anything. I'm not sure you would be convicted. Mail theft is a serious charge. You should contact a criminal defense attorney with experience in this area.

You also need to investigate the consequences to your husband.
