Intoxication assault 3rd degree

Hi My cousin

This is first time accident and Felony.

He is seriously injured.

He did not show up to Court for INTOXICATION ASSAULT 3RD DEGREE

He was arrensted while comming back from india at DTW airport , accident was TX - Houston.

He did not reieve any Communication from court since he vacated the appartment kept the mail transfer.

Q?

1. Will he get the bail now at Detroit or will get only after moving him to TX

2. What king of 3 degree punishments he has to face, ?

Since your cousin was arrested out-of-state on the failure to appear warrant, I expect no bond will be set until he appears before the judge who is hearing this case. A 3rd degree felony carries a range of punishment of 2-10 years in prison, and a maximum fine of $10,000.00. If your cousin has no prior felony convictions, he would be eligible for probation. Whether he actually receives probation is another question beyond the scope of our discussion. Thanks for writing in with your question.
