Legal Question in Environmental Law in Texas

lead posioning from work

I have developed lead posioning from work. I am in a new start up company. When I started last year my lead levels were normal, and now they are at a dangerous level. The company will start therapy with their physican, but I do not know if there will be long term effects from this. Should I find an attorney for safety sake?

Thanks you.

Re: lead posioning from work

I am not admitted to the Texas Bar, thus I cannot give specific information under Texas Law. This is an occupational exposure case covered by both Texas and US law. Your employer is liable for your treatment and may be liable in Tort for intentional damages. Contact a personal injury attorney in your locale. He may be able to sue for damages. You should contact an attorney at your first opportunity to assess your situation.
