Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I am 17 and my mom and dad have joint custody of me but i wanna live with my mother because my school district is terible but the distric at my moms is alot better academically and i want a better eduaction so can i move into my moms house since im 17? And can i withdraw from my current school and transfer to a different HS?

No you can't. Your parents can agree to a modification of conservatorship so that you can move in with your mom. If they cannot agree, then your mom can file a Petition to Modify Parent-Child Relationship and seek a change of primary conservatorship. If the court finds that it's in your best interest (your age will be a positive factor), then you would be able to live with your mom. You cannot withdraw/transfer high schools without parental permission.
