Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My ex is 2 years behind in childsupport. He lives in a different state than I. We have been to court 3 times and he has never shown. Hes only paid 1 payment in 2 years and is 9 thousand dollars behind. I have been going thru the attorney Generals office this whole time and still nothing is happening to him. I cant afford an attorney to take him to court.. what else can I do to either get money from him or for him to get his punishment for not paying??

I'm afraid you've done all you can do, if you can't afford a private attorney.

If the AG is dragging their feet, you should complain to your state senator. If you don't know who he is, you can look it up here:

Believe it or not, this can make a big difference in how much attention the AG pays to your case.
