Adopting my wife's child by another man she never married
11 years ago, my then unmarried wife became pregnant with another man's child. He subsequently stopped seeing her when told she was pregnant. A year later, I married her. The biological father has not seen his child since about 1 month old and has had no contact at all with either the child or my wife. Now, we'd like to give the boy my name. What are our options? Is it even possible?

The bio father's rights can be terminated for his failure to support or visit. You can then adopt the child as your own. I've done this several times. If you want my assistance, contact me by e-mail.
