Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Biological father wants custody of child he's never met!
I have a child that is 2 1/2 yrs. old and has never known her biological father.My husband has been with me since I was 4 mos. pregnant and he's ''daddy'' to her.I filed for child support recently and now the biological father has gotten a lawyer to try and take custody from me. I have been married to my husband since my daughter was 6 wks. old.We have a stable home/family/marriage.What are the odds that he could actually win.He knew about her and wanted me to have an abortion and left me.I believe the only reason he's going after custody is so that he doesn't have to pay the $12K back child support and because he would rather RECIEVE child support than pay it.Does he have a case?

He can certainly ask for custody or whatever he wants.

I strongly urge you to retain an attorney to fight this matter.
