Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Child Custody - Social Study - New Info

After a long wait, our social study was finally completed - indicating that we should keep our 50/50 joint custody arrangement intact. However, since the completion of the social study, the soon-to-be-exwife has been evicted from her apt, and has been arrested on a minor traffic warrant.

What will happen if I raise these new issues at our prove-up next week? If it can be used in my favor, I'd like to mention it...however I would HATE to have the judge simply order us to have another Soc Study done and delay the thing another 6 mos.

Procedurally, what can/should happen if significant factors have changed since the completion of the social study??

Obviously, you need to ask your attorney, because he or she knows your case better than anyone, and can answer this question very easily.
