Re: what is child support legally for

The money goes into your ex's bank account and it is comingled with the rest of her money.

Child support is to be used to "support" the children.

What is c.s. to be used for?

electricity - for heat and a/c

food

clothes

school supplies

personal products so they stay clean

a washer & dryer to have clean clothes

gasoline to drive the kids

car payment to have a vehicle to drive the kids

rent/mortgage to have a place for the kids to live

In other words, basically everything.
